4th Annual Cup 'n Cone Tour - a Premier National MS Society Fundraiser Ride.
Come celebrate two of our favorite things:
Cycling and the best frozen treats in the Triangle.
Enjoy the same excellent routes you enjoyed in the 2007 Cup 'n Cone Tour! All routes start at Goodberry's on Davis Drive at High House Road in Cary and head out to Jordan Lake.
The Tour offers distances of 30, 48, and 67 miles. The longer routes include the infamous climb up "col de Lystra", but finish with 20 easy miles. The challenging 67-mile route heads out to Maple View Farm Dairy Store in Orange County over mostly lightly-traveled roads and demands a total of 2,750' of climbing. It's probably the toughest charity ride of this distance in the Triangle!
The fully supported ride provides well-marked routes, cue sheets, SAG support, and rest stops. These are no ordinary rest stops. On the 48- and 67-mile routes cyclists will enjoy free ice cream from Maple View Farm Dairy Store in Orange County. Rest stops are also stocked with fruit, snacks, water, and sports drink. At the finish, all participants will enjoy free Goodberry's frozen custard.
Special thanks to The Bicycle Chain for providing mechanic support for the Tour!
Sign in (and on-site registration if the ride is not full) will be held from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM. The ride will start at 7:30 to help beat the heat.
Cue Sheets NOW AVAILABLE! 30-mile route OR 48-mile route OR 67-mile route
Last year 370 cyclists raised $8,400 for the MS Society.
